Join our dynamic team as a Remote Patient Account Representative! Your role will be instrumental in managing patient account balances, ensuring the timely payment of outstanding statements, and upholding our commitment to compassionate financial care. As a key member of our team, you'll utilize your expertise to maintain our financial health while providing respectful and empathetic interactions with our patients.

What You'll Need:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Prior experience in medical billing or collections, with a thorough understanding of medical
- Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- Experience with health insurance plans, including HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Ability to read and understand medical and insurance documents such as EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) to assist with the resolution of billing issues.
- Strong knowledge of patient billing processes, collection practices, and accounts receivable management.
- Skilled in negotiating payment plans and settlements with patients and/or resolving any billing discrepancies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks
